Each year the brewery invests a significant percentage of its revenues in research & development and machines/tools.

Curious by nature, Gayant Brewers regularly tests new recipes thanks to its micro-brewery, which has a capacity of 1000 liters. Alain Dessy, Technical Director, is the principal inventor of new beers at Gayant Brewers. Some of his recipes are put on the market – but all the others are also safely kept !

Today, innovation production
and marketing goes hand-in-hand with strict quality control.
The Brewery also has a contract with the research & development center of the Catholic University of Leuven, which serves three objectives : |

Internally, 4 persons perform quality control in the laboratory for beer at all the stages of production: inspection of raw materials, processes, microbiological inspection, control of finished products and rotation of stocks. The laboratory also tests new technologies and refines new production methods.

In addition, Gayant Brewers has established a technical list of specifications signed by each of its raw-materials suppliers.
